Conor McGregor’s mom under fire – for tactless Halloween costume!

✔ A spokesperson for the McGregor family responds to criticism from fans: "Spiders painted on her face"

Conor McGregor’s mother, Margaret McGregor, came under fire recently for her Halloween costume, which included her donning blackface.

During Halloween, the McGregor family all got together and showcased some exciting costumes; however Margareta McGregor’s decision to don blackface for her costume resulted in angry reactions from fans, who took to the comment section to voice their disapproval.

“Who went in blackface ffs?” one user wrote.

“Nobody else seeing the black face paint on the lady at the end? Wtf?”

“Everyone’s talking about his beard. What about the fact that his mum is doing blackface lol.”

“Your mother did black face??? Wow.”

A spokesperson for McGregor has responded to the accusations of racism and tactlessness in a public statement. According to the spokesperson, Margaret McGregor’s face was not painted black, but rather covered in spiders.

“The McGregor family loves Halloween. Mrs. McGregor had spiders painted on her face, since her costume was a ghoul risen from the grave. Any other interpretation was just wrong and truly unfortunate.”

Conor McGregor looks forward to a comeback next year

After suffering a leg break in the trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, McGregor has been out of active competition (and the USADA testing pool) for over a year. Now he looks forward to a comeback sometime next year. On Twitter, “The Notorious” hinted at a welterweight return, and aims to rack up several wins in 2023.

As his return to the octagon draws closer, McGregor is kept busy with a leading role in the remake of the movie “Road House,” where he plays a retired UFC fighter that starts work as a bouncer. Possible welterweight opponents for McGregor include Jorge Masvidal and Nick Diaz.
