Conor McGregor Shows Up Unannounced at UFC 223 Media Day in Brooklyn (VIDEO)

Conor McGregor made a surprise appearance at the UFC 223 media day in Brooklyn, NY on Thursday

Conor McGregor is in town.

The lightweight champion, who will lose his belt on Saturday night when Khabib Nurmagomedov faces Max Holloway in the main event at UFC 223, arrived in Brooklyn, New York on Thursday for a surprise appearance at the Barclays Center.

McGregor hadn’t given any indications that he planned to show up at UFC 223, but just as media day ended with the fighters competing on the card Saturday night, he came strutting through with his entourage before jumping in an elevator.

UFC president Dana White was also around on Thursday so it’s entirely possible McGregor showed up for a meeting with him.

Either way it appears McGregor will be cage side on Saturday night for the showdown between Nurmagomedov and Holloway, which could determine his next opponent in the UFC.
