UFC boss reveals: Conor McGregor could return to the UFC in 2020
By the sounds of things, there is a chance that the fans can see Conor McGregor make a UFC return before 2020 is over.
The shocking news came revealed via none other that UFC president Dana White. When asked about a potential comeback for the Irish superstar, White said that he and McGregor have spoken recently, and that they have been talking ideas. The UFC boss also added that the idea would be for McGregor to potentially return at the end of this year or the beginning of 2021
“I came up with an idea a couple days ago and I reached out to him, to see what he thought, and he was interested,” White told TSN. “So, we’re kicking some stuff around.”
“It’s not done. When it’s done I’d love to share the idea with you when it’s ready to roll. It’s just an idea right now…late 2020 or early 2021.”

White then doubled own on the potential McGregor comeback, though the beginning of next year seemed more likely.
“We’re actually working on some fun stuff for Conor (McGregor) at the beginning of next year, he should be back next year,” White said. “I’m not saying he’s coming back to fight guaranteed, but we’re talking right now about some stuff.”
Lately McGregor has found himself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. While vehemently denied by McGregor and his team, the Irishman stands accused of attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibitionism in the French island of Corsica.
McGregor returned to the UFC after over a year long hiatus at the start of 2020. At UFC 246 he faced Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, and won via first round TKO in a sensational performance. After expressing a desire to keep active, McGregor then took a step back from MMA, as there were no available bouts that interested him.
