UFC 275: Teixeira Vs. Prochazka – Fight Card, Streaming Time and Info
This weekend it’s time for star-studded UFC 275 in Singapore where two UFC titles are on the line!
In the main event, heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira (33-7 MMA, 16-5 UFC) in his first title defense as he takes on challenger Jiri Prochazka (28-3-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC). Teixeira has a winning streak of six straight, four of which came via submission. However, he will get his hands full with the explosive Prochazka who has a full twelve straight wins and eleven finishes via TKO / KO! Two of those fights were in the UFC octagon and landed him a title fight against the Brazilian champion!
In the co-main event, we see UFC champion Valentina Shevchenko (22-3 MMA, 11-2 UFC) defend her flyweight title against Taila Santos (18-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC). “The Bullet” Shevchenko is widely regarded as one of the MMA world’s best female fighters and since returning to flyweight, she has lined up eight straight victories. The title fight against Santos will be Shevchenko’s seventh title defense in flyweight and perhaps the last before she seeks challenges in a new weight class!
In addition to the two title fights, we will also see a very exciting return fight between the former champions Zhang Weili (21-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) and Joanna Jedrzejczyk (16-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC). Weili and Joanna met during UFC 248 in March 2020 and then offered an acclaimed title fight for the strawweight belt that the Chinese won with difficulty! Weili has since lost the title to Rose Namajunas but can secure another title shot if she defeats the Polish talent and former UFC champion Joanna!
