UFC 249 takes place tonight at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, Saturday, May 9th. Tony Ferguson will face Justin Gaethje for the interim lightweight title in the main event. The two have salvaged the original event which was planned for Brooklyn, New York on April 18th. Reigning lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was forced out of his original main event title defence with Ferguson. Now the interim strap is on the line as Ferguson and Gaethje face off in what is guaranteed to be barn burner.

The co-main event sees bantamweight champ Henry Cejudo put his belt on the line against returning former champion Dominick Cruz. Fighting for the first time in over three years due to injury, Cruz hopes to recapture the UFC bantamweight belt. Also on the card; heavyweight sluggers Francis Ngannou and Jairzinho Rozenstruik collide, and Jeremy Stephens faces Calvin Kattar in a featherweight clash.
