Manny Pacquiao Teases Possible Fight with Conor McGregor in 2018

Another boxer is challenging Conor McGregor to fight next year

Conor McGregor is poised to return to the UFC over the next few months but there are plenty of boxers still trying to get a shot at the lightweight champion.

The latest offer comes from multi-time champion Manny Pacquaio, who dropped a message on Instagram just ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday that he had interest in facing McGregor in the squared circle.

Pacquaio posted a photo of McGregor along with a message for the Irishman.

Happy Thanksgiving! Stay fit my friend. #realboxingmatch #2018 @thenotoriousmma

“Happy Thanksgiving. Stay fit my friend,” Pacquaio said along with a couple of hash tags including “real boxing match” and “2018”.

Pacquiao hasn’t fought since July when he lost a unanimous decision to Jeff Horn in Australia, dropping his record to 2-2 over his past four fights.

Of course, McGregor made his professional boxing debut earlier this year when he fell by TKO in the 10th round against Floyd Mayweather.

After that fight, McGregor has mentioned several times that he would like to continue to pursue a boxing career in addition to fighting in the UFC but as of yet he hasn’t responded to Pacquiao’s apparent call out.
