Conor McGregor Makes His Official Prediction For UFC 229 Showdown With Khabib Nurmagomedov

Conor McGregor returns to the UFC Octagon this weekend and “Mystic Mac” has given his official prediction for his showdown with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The Irishman will be looking to regain his UFC lightweight title when he faces the undefeated Russian in the main event of the fight card this Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

McGregor has never been shy of making an official prediction ahead of his fights and things are no different heading into UFC 229 this weekend. Speaking with TheMacLife.com, McGregor gave his official prediction but also reiterated that he would be ready to go the distance if required.

“I think I’m going to turn him into a bobblehead if I’m honest,” McGregor said. “It’s personal but it’s the same, it’s always a little personal. In there it’s a blank face and a new body.

“I see him turning into a bobblehead when I hit him. I feel his brain is going to rattle when he takes a clatter off me. That’s what I’m keeping in my head, but I’m a veteran now.

“I will be prepared for five rounds, I’ll be prepared for any scenario. I’m well trained, I’ve put in the work and we are confident going in, no matter where it goes.”

18 of McGregor’s 21 careers wins have come by way of TKO/KO with two decisions and one submission to his name.

Nurmagomedov’s 26 fight unbeaten streak features eight wins via TKO/KO, eight submissions and ten decision victories.
