Jorge Masvidal responds to Nick Diaz: “F*** the Diaz brothers!”

As was somewhat expected, Jorge Masvidal's team channelled the classic film Scarface in order to respond to Nick Diaz comments

Jorge Masvidal has, via his management, responded to Nick Diaz – And it feels like history in the making.

Diaz recently spoke out, and was not happy about the way that Masvidal had spoken about his brother Nate Diaz leading up to UFC 244. Masvidal would end up defeating Nate Diaz via TKO after round three due to a doctor stoppage. The older brother Nick Diaz, who fought in the UFC before Nate, took offence to Masvidal saying he was going to “baptize” his younger brother, and set the stage for a return fight with Masvidal.

Now, via manger Malki Kawa, Masvidal has a response, and it is quite literally something straight out of Scarface.

“Fuck the fucking Diaz brothers, fuck them all! I’ll bury those cockroaches,” the video excerpt says.

The line is taken straight out of the 1983 classic Scarface, a film that Masvidal has been associating himself with for his past few fights. As of now neither of the Diaz brothers has responded to the clip.

Whiel the UFC have not officially commented, Nick Diaz wants to return against Masvidal in spring 2020. Masvidal has several options, though, he may very well be next to fight for the welterweight title. This will almost certainly be the case if nemesis and former team mate Colby Covington defeats Kamaru Usman at UFC 245. Diaz hasn’t fought since 2015, when he lost a decision to Anderson Silva in a bout that was later changed to a No Contest.
