UFC 229: Khabib vs. McGregor Bout Order and Start Times Revealed

The bout order for UFC 229 has finally been revealed with the card capped off by the showdown between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.

In what will be the biggest card of the year, the bout order for UFC 229 featuring Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor in the main event has finally been revealed.

Obviously the lightweight title bout between Nurmagomedov and McGregor will be the final fight of the evening as the fierce rivals battle it out for the 155-pound title.

Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson will return to action in the co-main event as he takes on Anthony “Showtime” Pettis on Saturday night, Oct. 6.

A women’s strawweight fight between Michelle Waterson and Felice Herrig will kick off the pay-per-view main card from Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, the preliminary card for UFC 229 that airs live on FS1 will feature fast rising star “Sugar” Sean O’Malley in the headlining spot for his fight against Jose Quinonez.

Flyweight contender Sergio Pettis will also be featured on the prelims as he takes on Jussier Formiga in a fight that could put the winner just inches away from a title shot at 125 pounds.

As for the early prelims, those fights will air on UFC Fight Pass starting at 6:15 p.m. ET with a women’s bantamweight bout between Lina Lansberg and Yana Kunitskaya headlining that portion of the show.
