Sijara Eubanks Reacts To Missing Out On Main Eventing UFC 230

UFC flyweight Sijara Eubanks isn't happy about missing out on main eventing the UFC 230 Madison Square Garden fight card.

UFC 230 has a new main event with UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier taking on Derrick Lewis at Madison Square Garden.

Although disappointed by the news that Dustin Poirier will no longer take on Nate Diaz, fans around the world appear to be pleased at the prospect of watching Cormier throw down with “The Black Beast” on Nov. 3.

One woman who wasn’t so happy with all the changes to the UFC 230 last evening was Sijara Eubanks. For a while at least, it appeared that Eubanks would square off with Valentina Shevchenko in the main event with the UFC women’s flyweight title on the line.

That plan was abandoned last evening with the UFC rebooking Shevchenko against Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 231 in December. Eubanks, for the minute at least, appears to be in limbo and she took to Twitter last evening to express her disgust at the situation.

Her first tweet, which was later deleted read:

“@danawhite @mickmaynard2 buncha f*cking cowards!!! You pull me from this fight you’ll regret it!”

After deleting the tweet, Eubanks then suggested that the UFC book her against an alternative opponent with the title on the line.

Whether Eubanks remains on UFC 230 or is rebooked for another card remains to be seen.
