Popeyes Offering Free Chicken If Derrick Lewis Beats Daniel Cormier
Derrick Lewis loves Popeyes chicken and he could win free chicken for life if he beats Daniel Cormier on Saturday.
Over the past few days, Lewis’ social media has suggested that he’s been working in a brand sponsorship capacity with the Louisiana based American fast food restaurant.
Last night, Lewis and his team took to social media to reveal that should “The Black Beast” win on Saturday, anyone in and around Cypress, Texas can head down to the local Popeyes to get some free chicken between 2-4 on Sunday.

Whether Lewis eats some Popeyes before his fight with Cormier at UFC 230 remains to be seen. In a comical moment from the UFC 230 open workouts yesterday, Lewis was asked what he would be eating before entering the Octagon on Saturday. In true Derrick Lewis style, he responded by saying: “That depends. If my wife is in town, I eat her a**.”
Come Sunday, Lewis could be eating free Popeyes chicken for life.
