Marlon Moraes Blasts Jimmie Rivera After Signing Bout Agreement to Fight Him

Marlon Moraes is waiting on a response from Jimmie Rivera

There’s no more Mr. Nice Guy when it comes to Marlon Moraes.

The former World Series of Fighting champion took to Twitter on Saturday to show off his signed bout agreement to face rival opponent Jimmie Rivera later this year at either the upcoming UFC on FOX card in Orlando on Feb. 24 or UFC 222 on March 3 and now he’s waiting for a response.

Moraes not only put his signed contract on display for all to see but he also sent along a rather strong message aimed at Rivera, who he’s been targeting to fight for months.

“Here you go Jimmie Rivera, I signed my bout agreement,” Moraes wrote. “UFC on FOX. I also agreed to fight you on March 3rd. Choose what day you want me to beat your ass B-I-T-C-H.”

Moraes has been calling for a fight with Rivera ever since his win over John Dodson in Nov. 2017 following an injury to former champion Dominick Cruz, who was scheduled to meet him at UFC 219 in Dec.

Moraes didn’t land the fight but instead earned a jaw-dropping knockout against Aljamain Sterling a few weeks later instead and then once again appeared close to landing the fight with Rivera when he lost another opponent for the year end show on Dec. 30 last year.

Unfortunately time ran out to make that fight happen on such short notice following John Lineker’s withdrawal from the card just days before the event took place.

Now it’s clear the UFC wants to pit these two rivals into a fight against each other and Moraes is champing at the bit to get his hands on Rivera and he’s just waiting on a response from the New Jersey native.
