Forrest Griffin pays tribute to former opponent Stephan Bonnar following his passing at age 45


Stephan Bonnar, a former mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, passed away at the age of 45 due to suspected heart complications.

Forrest Griffin tweeted:

Stephan was a lot of things: He was always the most interesting person in the room, he had the biggest heart and most importantly, he was my friend. I always loved it that people got excited when they found out we were really friends. I’ll always miss you, brother.

Bonnar’s former opponent, Forrest Griffin, paid tribute to him and remembered him as a friend with a big heart and the most interesting person in the room.

Bonnar’s UFC career spanned from 2005 to 2012, during which he fought against notable opponents such as Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, and Rashad Evans.
