Enormous bodybuilder signs with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship

✅ The 385 lbs (175 kg) bodybuilder set to make his debut in 2020

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) continues to make headlines, and their latest signing is literally a huge one. At the end of their BKFC 9 Prelims, they announced that social media sensation Sajad Gharibi “Iranian Hulk” will make his debut in 2020.

This is not the first time “Iranian Hulk,” or “Persian Hercules” has gone viral. In mid-2016 the 385 lbs (~175 kg) bodybuilder said that he was going to help fight ISIS, but is now turning his focus on bare-knuckle fighting.

The Iranian bodybuilder Sajad Gharibi is the latest in a string of popular social media stars expressing a desire to compete in martial arts. And with several successful cross-over fights, we can only expect more and more of these things in the future.

This is what BKFC President David Feldman had to say about Sajad Gharibi (transcript by MMAFighting):

“This guy’s going to make his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut in early 2020,” David Feldman said. “We’re going to do a show entitled ‘USA vs. Iran: World War III.’ He’s literally our biggest signing we’ve ever had. But he’s going to make his way over to Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, he’s gonna make a home here, and we expect really, really big things from ‘The Iranian Hulk.’”
