Episode four of UFC Embedded for UFC 312 has been released. In the first two episodes, viewers saw fighters making their final preparations at home. By episode three, most had arrived or were en route to Sydney, Australia. Now, in episode four, fight week has reached media day and the official press conference. The episode opens with Sean Strickland sparring with Caio Borralho at the UFC Gym in Sydney. Strickland himself stated in episode three that he finds joy in sparring and fighting.

The fourth episode of UFC Embedded primarily focuses on final adjustments and media appearances. Among those present is former two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier, one of the most well-known figures in MMA media today. Viewers also get an exclusive look behind the scenes of the open workouts, where fans watch fighters like reigning strawweight champion Zhang Weili and her challenger, Tatiana Suarez, prepare for battle. Toward the end of the episode, Strickland is seen engaging in light sparring with a fan.

Two Title Fights at UFC 312

UFC 312 is now less than 48 hours away. There has been speculation that this may not be one of the strongest UFC events in recent memory. UFC 311 didn’t receive as much promotion as some of last year’s major cards, but fan interest seemed higher than for UFC 312. The main event features a middleweight title fight between reigning champion Dricus du Plessis and former champion Sean Strickland. Du Plessis won their first encounter via split decision at UFC 297 in January 2024.

Before that, Zhang Weili will defend her strawweight title for the third time against undefeated challenger Tatiana Suarez. Zhang is riding a four-fight winning streak, while Suarez boasts an 11-0 record but has been inactive since August 2023.

UFC 312: Fight Card and Start Time

UFC 312 takes place on February 8, 2025, at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. The main card starts at 4:00 AM CET on February 9 for European viewers and will be broadcast on Viaplay. The preliminary card begins at 2:00 AM CET, while the early prelims start at midnight, both available on UFC Fight Pass.
