Tony Ferguson posts hilarious video – from the hospital
Tony Ferguson may have lost the interim title bout against Justin Gaethje at UFC 249, but “El Cucuy” vows to stay positive.
Tony Ferguson’s loss against Justin Gaethje at UFC 249 marked his first defeat since 2012. It also marked his first defeat by stoppage since 2009.
Gaethje showcased why he is considered one of the sport’s most feared fighters and soon, “The Highlight” will have the chance to show his worth against lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
This leaves Ferguson in a tough position, and even more so after Gaethje broke his orbinatal bone. The fracture did not stop Ferguson from pushing forward for five round, and the defeat has not kept “El Cucuy” from smiling and dancing.
