Stipe Miocic Engages in Tense Stare Down with Francis Ngannou Ahead of UFC 220 (VIDEO)

The two best heavyweights in the world will square off when Stipe Miocic faces Francis Ngannou at UFC 220

In what could be the most highly anticipated heavyweight title fight in years, Stipe Miocic came face to face with ferocious knockout puncher Francis Ngannou for the first time on Friday ahead of their matchup in the main event at UFC 220.

Ngannou is fresh off his vicious first round finish over Alistair Overeem, which has been almost unanimously chosen as the best knockout of the year in 2017.

Meanwhile, Miocic is actually the underdog in his third title defense and funny enough if he gets past Ngannou on Jan. 20 he will become the longest reigning heavyweight champion in UFC history.

While the face off was rather tense, Miocic and Ngannou did manage to shake hands before squaring off as they came eye-to-eye for the first time with their fight now only a few weeks away.

Light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier also came face to face with No. 1 contender Volkan Oezdemir on Friday as well as they prepare to meet in the co-main event at UFC 220.
