Ruslan Magomedov Out; Adam Wieczorek In To Face Marcos Rogerio de Lima At UFC 230

There's been yet another change to the UFC 230 fight card but luckily heavyweight Adam Wieczorek is ready to save the day.

UFC 230 has taken yet another hit this evening but luckily a late notice replacement has been found.

According to sources close to Jim Edwards of MMANytt.com, Ruslan Magomedov will no longer fight at UFC 230 and Polish heavyweight Adam Wieczorek will now step in to fight Marcos Rogrrio de Lima.

Wieczorek (10-1) has gone 2-0 in the UFC with wins over Anthony Hamilton and Arjan Bhullar Singh. The Pole made his UFC debut in November last year at UFC Fight Night 121 and defeated Hamilton via unanimous decision to record his eighth consecutive win. The Shark Top Team fighter then made it nine in a row against Singh at UFC on Fox 29 when he sunk in an Omoplata submission in the second round of their fight in April earlier this year.

De Lima (15-5-1) will be making the move back up to heavyweight having originally fought at 205-pounds in the UFC. The Brazilian is coming off a loss to Ovince Saint Preux in April 2017 and has gone 4-3 in his UFC career with victories over Jeremy Kimball, Clint Hester, Igor Pokrajac and Richardson Moreira.

The UFC 230 fight card now looks like this:

Chris Weidman vs. Ronaldo Souza
Dave Branch vs. Jared Cannonier
Karl Roberson vs. Jack Marshman
Derek Brunson vs. Israel Adesanya
Jason Knight vs. Jordan Rinaldi
