Mirko Cro Cop vs. Roy Nelson 2 Added to Bellator 200

Legendary heavyweight Mirko Cro Cop has signed with Bellator and he will meet Roy Nelson in a rematch set for May

Legendary heavyweight Mirko Cro Cop has signed on with Bellator MMA and will make his debut on May 25 where he faces Roy Nelson in a rematch at Bellator 200.

Bellator officials confirmed the matchup on Monday.

Cro Cop is the latest addition to the Bellator roster as he looks to build on a recent eight fight win streak that includes victories over “King Mo” Lawal and Gabriel Gonzaga in his final fight in the UFC back in 2015.

Now Cro Cop will try to exact revenge when he meets Nelson in May after the two fighters first clashed in the UFC in 2011. On that night, Nelson earned a knockout victory over Cro Cop and now he’ll look to repeat that performance in May.

Nelson was just recently eliminated from the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix in a hard fought decision against Matt Mitrione so he’ll certainly be motivated for a rematch against Cro Cop.

Cro Cop vs. Nelson 2 is the latest addition to a growing Bellator 200 card that includes a middleweight title fight between Rafael Carvalho and Gegard Mousasi as well as the return of Michael “Venom” Page.
