Khamzat chimaev cashing in at BFN 9 – ”It’s a lot of money”!
Later today, UFC star Khamzat Chimaev will face top-ranked UFC middleweight Jack Hermansson at Bulldog Fight Night (BFN) 9 in Gothenburg! This is only a few weeks after “Borz” fantastic performance against Chinese welterweight Li Jingliang at UFC 267.
After a long battle against COVID-19, many wondered if Khamzat could return back in as good shape as seen before – the athlete put an end to all doubt by ending the match against Jingliang via submission early in the first round!

Prior to the freestyle wrestling bout at BFN 9, there has been much speculation about the salary of the athletes involved, especially the star Khamzat. This is what Bulldog’s CEO, Daniel Högström, had to say to Frontkick about the money:
“Of course Khamzat gets paid well,” said Högström. This is Sweden’s next superstar. But money is not everything, you have to have gold and real estate as well.
Khamzat also commented on the salary. It seems to be a real cash cow for Khamzat tonight, but the fighter did not want to disclose any exact figures!
“I do not know, brother,” said Khamzat, laughing. It’s a lot of money.
Considering all the bonuses that the Swedish UFC star received for his octagon performances – $50,000 each – it must be a big pay day at BFN 9 as well.
