Mousasi will get his first chance to fight for Bellator gold when he takes on three time defending champion Rafael Carvalho in a title bout on the main card. Mousasi is currently riding a six fight win streak including five of those wins taking place in the UFC but Carvalho will present an interesting matchup as he looks to defend his belt for the fourth consecutive time.
Meanwhile, Page — better known by his nickname ‘MVP’ — will finally make his return to action in his first mixed martial arts bout since 2016. The prolific striker will take on former Bellator title challenger David Rickels in a welterweight fight on the card.
As of now, Bellator hasn’t confirmed if the Mousasi vs. Carvalho fight will serve as the main event or if another bout may end up in the headline spot.
