Francis Ngannou Sets Stage for MMA Comeback

"The Predator eyes triumphant MMA return."

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has announced his much-anticipated return to mixed martial arts (MMA), stirring excitement among fans worldwide. Known as “The Predator,” Ngannou has recently taken the boxing world by storm, showcasing an impressive performance against Tyson Fury last October. Despite a technical loss in his boxing debut, many argue that Ngannou deserved the victory against one of the sport’s greatest heavyweights.

Ngannou’s success in the boxing ring has paved the way for another thrilling opportunity. On March 8th, he will face off against former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. A victory over Joshua would significantly boost Ngannou’s future career in boxing, yet it seems he hasn’t forgotten his MMA roots.

Last year, Ngannou inked a deal with the MMA organization PFL. However, due to his focus on boxing, he has yet to make his debut. The upcoming match between PFL champion Renan Ferreira and Bellator champion Ryan Bader appears to be setting the stage for Ngannou’s first MMA fight in over two years. Both fighters are eager to face Ngannou, especially since he negotiated a minimum salary of two million dollars for all his opponents in his deal with PFL.

Ngannou expressed his intentions, stating, “I believe the winner will be the one I’ll face in my return to MMA. I intend to come back to the sport. The exact timing, I think, depends on March 8th. Everything depends on March 8th.” Both Bader and Ferreira, being champions themselves, present an ideal challenge for Ngannou, who reminded everyone, “in case you’ve forgotten, I’m a champion too.”
