Conor McGregor Posts X-Rated Response To Tony Ferguson’s UFC 223 Withdrawl

The UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor has broken his silence regarding Tony Ferguson withdrawl from UFC 223.

It took Conor McGregor nearly 24-hours to post his reaction, but finally he’s given us his thoughts on Tony Ferguson withdrawing from his scheduled bout with Khabib Nurmagomedov this Saturday at UFC 223.

McGregor, who has been outspoken previously about Ferguson and Nurmagomedov’s tendency to pull out of bouts ahead of fight night, this time didn’t hold back when giving his thoughts on Ferguson’s latest fight cancellation.

The Irishman is expected to be stripped of his 155-pounds title this Saturday when the Octagon door closes and the bell sounds to signal the beginning of the Nurmagomedov vs Max Holloway main event. UFC President Dana White has confirmed multiple times now that “as soon as the first punch is thrown,” McGregor will be stripped of his title.

McGregor hasn’t competed inside of the Octagon since November 2016 at UFC 205 when he defeated Eddie Alvarez for the 155-pounds belt. The Irish is of course yet to have defend a world title in his professional career in a record that stretches back to his time as both the Cage Warriors featherweight and lightweight champion.

Nurmagomedov has expressed his disgust at McGregor in the past 24-hours for tweeting that he was “staying ready” just a few weeks ago. White, however, did also confirm to ESPN yesterday that McGregor wasn’t even approached about taking the fight given the little amount of time they would have to promote his comeback.

Who knows where this story is headed next.
