Aaron Chalmers Training At American Top Team Ahead Of Bellator 200
There are 9 weeks until Bellator 200 and UK reality TV star Aaron Chalmers is mixing up his training ahead of his showdown Ashley Griffiths on May 25.
Chalmers (3-0) trains out of Ultimate Training Centre in Birmingham, England alongside the likes of Febian and Leon Edwards, Tom Breese and Vaughn Lee. With three of the four coming out of their own training camps after this weekend, “The Joker” has taken his training camp abroad to American Top Team.
In a brief exchange of messages with Chalmers earlier today, he confirmed to MMANytt.com that he will spend the next six weeks training with the likes of “King Mo” at the main American Top Team training facility in Coconut Creek, Florida. He also made mention to the fact that English fighters Scott Askham and Marc Diakiese will be joining him over there in the next few weeks.
Chalmers will be making his Bellator debut at the Bellator 200 event taking place in London, England on May 25 at the SSE Wembley Arena. The event is yet to have a main event set, but features a Bellator middleweight title fight between champion Rafael Carvalho and Gegard Mousasi. The heavyweight bout between Roy Nelson and Mirko Cro Cop will also be considered for the main event slot according to Bellator CEO Scott Coker.
