Claudia Gadelha vs. Nina Ansaroff Added to UFC 231 in Toronto
A strawweight showdown between former title contender Claudia Gadelha and Nina Ansaroff has been added to the UFC 231 card in Toronto on Dec. 8.
UFC officials announced the pairing on Wednesday.

Gadelha last fought on June when she defeated former champion Carla Esparza at UFC 225 and then had to undergo knee surgery afterwards.
The Brazilian contender has already been back into training and now she has her next fight booked for December while looking to climb back into title contention after going 3-1 in her past four fights.
As for Ansaroff, this will be the biggest step up in competition she’s faced since joning the UFC roster and working her way into the top 15 rankings.
Ansaroff is coming from three wins in a row including victories over Randa Markos and Angela Hill.
Now she will face Gadelah in December with hopes of earning a top five ranking while taking on the former title contender at UFC 231.
