Jessica Rose-Clark vs. Andrea Lee Scrapped from UFC on FOX in Milwaukee

A planned women's flyweight bout between Jessica-Rose Clark and Andrea Lee has been scrapped from Saturday night's UFC on FOX card from Milwaukee.

A planned women’s flyweight bout between Jessica-Rose Clark and Andrea Lee has been scrapped from Saturday night’s UFC on FOX card from Milwaukee.

UFC officials announced the news on Friday.

“On Friday morning UFC flyweight Jessica-Rose Clark was deemed medically unfit to compete by UFC physicians. As a result the scheduled flyweight bout with Clark and Andrea Lee has been cancelled,” UFC officials wrote in a statement.

Clark was reportedly struggling with her weight cut to get down to the 126-pound limit in a non-title fight and she was ultimately taken to the hospital for treatment.

Physicians ruled her medically unable to compete and Clark was pulled from the card.

Unfortunately due to the last minute timing, Lee obviously wouldn’t receive a new opponent and thus she was also pulled from the card.

The UFC on FOX card from Milwaukee will move forward with 12 total bouts.
