Is MTV DJ Sean Gilley About To Sign For Cage Warriors?
DJ Sean Gilley let the world know he was giving up his music career to focus on MMA at the start of the year and it appears that he may have found a home at Cage Warriors.
Gilley, 26 from Newcastle, tweeted on 01.01.208 that he was putting his career as DJ on hold and that he would be pursuing a career in MMA. Speaking via his Twitter page, Gilley wrote:
“Today I’ve decided to give up the Music life and focus on my MMA career I started MMA in 2009 and was waiting for the right time and this year is going to be a huge year thank you for all the support but it’s time to go further.”
Gilley has since posted a number of tweets about his Muay Thai training at North Kings Gym and Newcastle and this evening dropped his biggest hint yet that he’s lining up his MMA debut by posting a photo of himself alongside Cage Warriors President, Graham Boylan.

The caption ‘Not long now’ would suggest that Gilley could be lining up his MMA Debut and if he was to sign for Cage Warriors there would be a number of options open to him to make his debut.
The next Cage Warriors event takes place on Feb. 24 in Liverpool with Molly McCann taking on Byrony Tyrell for the Cage Warriors women’s flyweight title.
Cage Warriors 91 then takes place in Newport, Wales on March 3. Then on March 24, Cage Warriors 92 ‘Super Saturday’ takes place at the Indigo venue at the London 02 Arena.
